India Day was celebrated on the 22nd April, 2017 in Västerås, by the Embassy of India in collaboration with Västerås Indians Swedish Association. It included various cultural performances, exhibition and sale of Indian handicrafts, yoga sessions and an informative session promoting tourism in India. The event was graced by Member of Parliament and Chairman of India Sweden Parliamentary Friendship Group, Ms. Åsa Coenraads and Ms. Anna Hård af Segerstad, Councillor, Västerås Stad.
