VISITORS to India who wish to apply for a Visa for India are henceforth requested to note that TT Services AB has been contracted by the Embassy of the Republic of India in Stockholm to assist the Embassy as a Service Provider. An office has opened in Stockholm and will be known as ‘Indian Visa Application Center’ (IVAC) located at Kungsgatan 36, 2 Floor, Stockholm.

ALL applicants from Sweden will now be required to approach IVAC for depositing their visa applications and for collection of passports after visas have been stamped on the passports. The applicants will also be required to submit all their documents including the applicable visa fee at IVAC, which can be done either in cash or through bank (details about bank, etc., are provided in their website www.ttservices.se under ‘Visa Fees’).

IVAC will accept applications between 0900 hrs and 1600 hrs from Monday to Friday. Visa Application Center will not operate on Saturdays & Sundays and on the closed holidays as observed by the Embassy of India, Stockholm.

The Indian Visa Application Center will :

(a) Entertain applicants only between the working hours as stipulated above;

(b) Go through the applications and inform the applicant of any discrepancies and missing information;

(c) Provide receipt for payment of visa fee to the applicant(s) once application has been found fit for acceptance and forwarding to the Embassy.

(d) Require the applicants to produce their receipt for collecting their passports.

As per the rules stipulated by the Embassy of India, each individual (including infants/minors) are required to get separate visas on their individual passports to enter India.

Application for Passport, Consular services, PIO and OCI

Applications for only Passport, Consular Services, PIO and OCI can be submitted directly at the counter of the Embassy, which is open from 0900 hours to 1200 hours on all working days(Monday to Friday except declared holidays). All original documents should be accompanied with photocopies. After completion of requested services, passports/documents can be collected from the Reception counter between 1600 and 1700 hours on the date indicated in the fee receipt. Applications can also be sent to the Embassy by registered post if accompanied by a stamped REK self-addressed envelope of appropriate size (so that passport/documents can be returned to you by post).

 

  Applications From Sweden

Payments:

Visa fee and IVAC service fee can be paid by cash or by Credit Card (Master or Visa) at the IVAC counter.

Fee for all services is accepted by Bankgiro.

Fee payment receipt must accompany all applications.

Cash should not be sent in the envelope by post.

IVAC’s Bankgiro Account Number is 339-6991. Please mention your Passport Number as your reference number.

PLEASE ATTACH PRINTOUT OF PAYEMENT OR YOUR COPY OF THE BANKGIRO RECEIPT WITH VISA APPLICATION FORM.

Applications with Payments to the Bankgiro are processed after our bank confirms receipt of the paid in amount (generally it takes 3-4 working days).

No personal cheques are accepted.

KINDLY NOTE THAT THE VISA APPLICATION FEE AND IVAC SERVICE FEE ONCE PAID ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

To know status of the application submitted at Indian Visa Application Centre, use online status check facility provided on their website www.ttservices.se. For any specific enquiry, clarification or further information, please contact IVAC on phone 08-4401590).

For those applications submitted direct to Embassy under special categories, applicants are advised to send e-mails to consular@indianembassy.se or visapassports@indianembassy.se or fax to 08-248505. Telephonic enquiries can also be done between 1430 and 1630 hours at telephone number 08-107008 extension 209 on any working day.

Warning:

It is an offense to knowingly furnish false information or to suppress material information when applying for visa, passport and other services.

  Applications from Latvia
 

The Embassy of India in Stockholm is also accredited to the Republic of Latvia. We do not have any Consulate in Latvia. Visa, Passport and other consular services for those living in Latvia are, therefore, provided by the Embassy of India in Stockholm. Applicants living in Latvia can send their Passports and other documents direct to the Embassy of India, Stockholm through post accompanied by self-addressed envelope and ten International Reply Coupons to cover the cost of return postage by registered post. Applicants can also make other arrangements (through courier, etc.,) to get the documents collected from the Embassy. For more information, please visit relevant sections in this website.

Application for Consular Services including Passports, PIO and OCI Cards

Applications for Consular Services, e.g., Passports, PIO Cards, OCI Cards, Attestations, etc., can be submitted direct at the Embassy counter between 0900 and 1200 hours on working days (Monday to Friday, except closed holidays). All original documents should be accompanied with photocopies. After completion of requested services, passports/documents can be collected from the Embassy counter between 1600 and 1700 hours on the date indicated in the receipt provided by the Embassy. Applications can also be sent to the Embassy by registered post, but must be accompanied by return envelopes with relevant address and postage stamps on them for return of the documents by registered post.

Payment of Fees for Applications from Latvia and for all other services

Fee for all the services related to visa applications from Latvia and all other consular services will be accepted at the Embassy as before. Cash payments can be made at the counter of the Embassy. Personal cheques or credit cards are not accepted at the Embassy counter. If applications are sent by post, payment of fee can be made to Embassy’s Bankgiro Account No.5816-4930. A copy of the receipt/internet payment print-out must be attached with the application as a proof of payment, when applying.
